- The company has acquired 100 per cent equity share capital of Meru Mobility Tech Private Limited, V-Link Fleet Solutions Private Limited and V-Link Automotive Services Private Limited from MTSPL
- Third-party logistics solution provider Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL) has announced its acquisition of Meru today.

23312. Dominican Republic Vice President Thanks PM Modi, EAM For Providing COVID-19 VaccinesVKits
- Vice President of the Dominican Republic and head of Health Cabinet, Raquel Pena, on Tuesday, thanked India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing 50,000 'Made in India’ COVID-19 vaccines. Dominican Vice President also lauded Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, in a video message, after the latter dispatched coronavirus vaccine shipment to the Caribbean nation.
- In her video, after the consignment of covid vials from India arrived, Pena affirmed that the vaccine donated by India will help the country to immunize the health workers and elderly.
- India has exported the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII) and Bharat Biotech's indigenous vaccine to more than 29 countries and will be providing vaccine doses to 49 more countries in the coming days.

23314. India sends COVID-19 vaccines to Botswana
- India has sent COVID-19 vaccines manufactured in the country to Botswana as part of the 'Vaccine Maitri' initiative.
- The consignment of vaccines reached Gaborone, the capital of Botswana.
- "Bonding with Botswana. Made in India vaccines land in Gaborone. VaccineMaitri," External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a tweet.

23316. . India to Send 4.5 Crore Doses of Home-Made Covid-19 Vaccine to Pakistan: Sources (Pro Bharat, Pakistan)
- Top officials in the government, on conditions of anonymity, said on Wednesday that India will send 4.5 crore doses of home-made covid-19 vaccines to Pakistan under an agreement with vaccine alliance, GAVI.
- GAVI is a public–private global health partnership with the goal of increasing access to immunisation.
- Sources further informed that 1.6 crore doses will be provided by June this year.

- As part of its Vaccine Maitri initiative aimed to assist countries in their fight against the coronavirus pandemic, the Made-in-India vaccines reached Jamaica on Monday (local time).
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a tweet, "Caring for our Caribbean friends. Made in India vaccines have reached Jamaica."
- Hours after receiving 40,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Alfonso Browne thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for demonstrating an "act of benevolence, kindness and empathy" by sending 175,000 AstraZeneca vaccines to the Caribbean countries."

23318. Afghanistan receives 468,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from India
- Afghanistan received 468,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine 'Covishield' from the Serum Institute of India (SII).
- In a tweet, Afghanistan envoy to India Farid Mamundzay said, "468,000 doses of the Covishield vaccine, from the Astra Zeneca Serum Institute of India arrived yesterday at HKI airport. Afghanistan's Ministry of Public Health was there to receive the shipment and expressed gratitude on behalf of Afghanistan. Vaccines help us save lives and prevent transmission."
- The cumulative count of COVID-19 cases in Afghanistan has reached 55,876. As many as 2,451 people have lost their lives due to the virus, according to Johns Hopkins University.

- As part of its Vaccine Maitri initiative aimed at assisting countries in their fight against the coronavirus pandemic, the Made-in-India vaccines have reached Tajikistan and Belize.
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a tweet, "From the Himalaya to the Pamirs. Tajikistan receives Made in India vaccines."
- In another tweet, he said continuing with India's assistance to Central America's fight against COVID-19, Belize received the Made-in-India vaccines on Monday (local time).

23320. Nepal receives 348,000 doses of Made-in-India COVID-19 vaccines under COVAX initiative
- Nepal received 348,000 doses of Made-in-India COVID-19 vaccines under the COVAX initiative. In a tweet, the Embassy of India in Nepal wrote, "Today, the first COVAX shipment of 348,000 doses of AstraZeneca 'Covishield' vaccines manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII), together with 350,000 syringes and 3500 vaccine safety boxes arrived in Kathmandu.
- COVAX is a global vaccine initiative run by a coalition that includes the Vaccine Alliance known as Gavi and World Health Organization (WHO) and is funded by donations from governments, multilateral institutions and foundations.
- Its mission is to buy coronavirus vaccines in bulk and send them to poorer nations that can't compete with wealthy countries in securing contracts with the major drug companies. On the arrival of COVID-19 vaccines in Nepal, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Indian Ambassador to Nepal, said, "I welcome the first arrival of COVAX shipment of 348,000 doses of Astrazeneca 'Covishield' vaccines from India.
